What email service do you integrate with?

We are integration partners with both Microsoft and Google, and authentication occurs within the Candata application.

What is the accuracy of this technology?

The solution was designed to improve throughput by 2-3x. The technology is 99% accurate with quantities and line descriptions. Improving system data catalogs automates HS codes. 

Does this replace the work of a rater?

No, by removing mundane data entry, raters can focus on more important compliance-related issues that improve the broker's service to customers. 

 What's the learning curve for raters?

Our integration eliminates the need for raters to leave the Candata application to handle third-party interfaces. Training videos are self-explanatory.

How will this impact our current Outlook or Gmail inbox? Could this cause issues?

The Candata integration works like a queue: once a shipment is actioned in Candata, it falls off the dashboard and moves to “archive” in the Gmail/Outlook inbox for proper storage.

Do I need to do ‘document training’ to make the system accurate?

No, the system works with your first invoice and will get smarter over time. 

How does it handle “bad” or “inconsistent data” associated with low-value shipments?

Raters have always been able to manually improve data cataloging directly within Candata. The Candata system will gain “importer-intelligence” by recognizing historically classified items based upon past actions with specific importers.
